Mexican market GMT800 Suburbans received a facelift to match the “cat-eye” Silverado.

That looks pretty good! I wonder why they didn’t make it standard across the lineup?

The cat eye Silverado is one of my favorites.

urrrrrgh it looks wrong just because my brain has never seen one. Uncanny valley kind of feeling

That angular front looks good on the Silverado but I think it’s a bit at-odds with the otherwise round Suburban body.

Yeah, the body needs a few more angles to really sell it.
Reminds me of the later “New Edge” SN95s, which despite the exterior facelift, kept the same curvy interior design. I kinda like the New Edge flavor more than I do the “jellybean”, but let’s face it- that interior was a far better match for the jellybean than it was for the later models.

Actually saw one of these around Detroit about a month ago. I wonder if it someone on vacation or a junk yard swap after an accident.
